About Me

I love trees.  I've always did.  But my favorite thing to do is watch them wave in the wind.  So free, so majestic, so alive.

Born in New York City, I love the life there.  Every culture it seems is represented.  Finding things to do is easy, there is a rich wealth of the arts available just waiting for you to bite in to.

African flavors in dress, hair styles, food and music are important to me.  I love the fact that the dresses are made with us women of color as the focus.  The ample hips and breasts and buttocks we have should have enough room to breathe, move and just be.  We're beautiful and there's no doubt about it.

I am a wife of 37 years. (Let's all hear it for me.  Yeah!)  But the truth be known, the credit and all praise goes to God, the creator of relationships.  The creator of marriage and yes the author of love itself.

My husband is a musician and we run a Gospel music school together.  We have five wonderful creative and strong children who love God too.

I started writing when I was much younger than I am now, but my first published writing was in 12th grade.  I wrote a short story that became the feature story of the school's literary magazine.  I still have it today.

Lately I've decided to follow God's will for my life and do what he has put into my heart and hands, WRITE.  So enjoy!
